Selective Frequency Support Approach for MTDC Systems Integrating Wind Generation

چکیده
This paper introduces a new control approach for Voltage Source Converter (VSC) stations in multi-terminal dc (MTDC) grid to provide mutual frequency support among asynchronous ac networks. The developed coordinated strategy modifies the active power references of each droop-controlled converter considering its adjacent system's operational condition enable desired support. Specifically, proposed controller accurately achieves operator pre-specified deviation ratios between disturbed systems and other areas, thereby providing affected grids during whole event. Therefore, an extra degree freedom can be achieved determining extent performance is tested with significantly different regulation characteristics. stability analysis time-domain validation are conducted Matlab/Simulink.
